Dr. Recupero earned her medical degree from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996, completing a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and earning board certification in both.

Her background spans running her own primary care practice centered on holistic medicine, a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, and over a decade with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where she became a recognized national expert in Whole Health and patient-centered primary care.

She holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Master of Education from the University of Massachusetts, alongside fellowships from the American College of Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians.
